Data Deletion

You can delete your Cora data at any time. This page explains exactly what gets deleted and how to request it.
Option 1 — Delete your account in the app
The fastest way, and it removes everything:
- Open Cora → Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm with the emailed verification code.
- Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted: profile, connected Instagram account and its access token, synced profile snapshot, grid posts, media, drafts, bookmarks, AI usage records and your product-analytics profile.
Option 2 — Disconnect Instagram, keep your work
If you want to keep your Cora account but cut its access to Instagram, disconnect in Settings → Instagram. This immediately destroys the stored access token and clears the profile details we mirrored from Instagram — your username, biography, picture, follower and following counts.
It deliberately does not delete your posts, plans or drafts. Those are your work and they stay in your account; anything that was queued to publish automatically becomes a reminder instead. If you reconnect the same Instagram account later, your history links back up without creating duplicates.
If you want the Instagram-derived data gone as well, use Option 1 or Option 3 below.
Option 2b — Remove the app from Instagram's side
Instagram app → Settings → Apps and websites → Cora → Remove. Instagram notifies our server automatically and we permanently delete everything we hold for that Instagram account — the token, the profile snapshot, the synced posts and their media. No further action is needed from you. This is a deletion, not a disconnect: unlike Option 2, the posts do not survive.
Option 3 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@apollotechstudio.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my data". We will verify the request and delete your data within 30 days, and confirm when it is done.
What is deleted
Your account, email, sign-in identifiers, connected Instagram account(s) and their encrypted access tokens, profile snapshots, grid posts, media, drafts, bookmarks, device push tokens, AI usage records and the product-analytics profile held under your account identifier. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Confirmation
When deletion is triggered by removing the app on Instagram, we return a confirmation code and a status URL you can check. For in-app or email requests, we confirm by email once complete.
